In a bid to fine-tune their groundwork towards the 2018 World Cup, Tunisia’s “Aigles de Carthage” have a date at the Allianz Riviera with Costa Rica, an up and coming nation in Central American football that made it to the quarter finals of the last World Cup in Brazil.
Tunisia will be taking part in the FIFA World Cup after a 12-year absence and will confront England, Belgium and Japan during the group stage.
As for Costa Rica, it sailed through the qualifications brilliantly by finishing a distant first in its group during the heats of the CONCACAF Champion’s League (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football). During the group stage in Russia, it will encounter Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland.
